Abortion Stories As Told By Abortion Survivors

Posted by John Hitchcock on 2014/07/20

In light of Senate Democrats’ 100 percent vote to allow abortion on demand until the day a child is born, in an attempt to stop the various States from enacting any restrictions or protections, I have decided to reprint an article I wrote in 2012.

From Teen Breaks.com:

Gianna Jessen
My name is Gianna Jessen… I was aborted, and I did not die. My biological mother was 7 months pregnant when she went to Planned Parenthood in southern California, and they advised her to have a late-term saline abortion.

A saline abortion is a solution of salt saline that is injected into the mother’s womb. The baby then gulps the solution. It burns the baby inside and out, and then the mother is to deliver a dead baby within 24 hours.

This happened to me! I remained in the solution for approximately 18 hours and was delivered ALIVE… in a California abortion clinic. There were young women in the room who had already been given their injections and were waiting to deliver dead babies. When they saw me the abortionist was not yet on duty and had me transferred to the hospital.

I should be blind, burned… I should be dead! And yet, I live! Due to a lack of oxygen supply during the abortion I live with cerebral palsy.

When I was diagnosed with this, all I could do was lie there. They said that was all I would ever do! Through prayer and hard work by my foster mother, I was walking at age 3 ½ with the help of a walker and leg braces. At that time I was also adopted into a wonderful family. Today I am left only with a slight limp. I no longer have need of a walker or leg braces.

…Death did not prevail over me… and I am so thankful!

Claire Culwell’s April 2010 story from Stand For Life:

Putting a Face To What You’re Fighting For

By Claire Culwell

A year ago, when I was 21 years old, I met the woman who gave birth to me. I had always dreamed about the day I would meet her, and it NEVER involved the most significant part of it all…learning that I was an ABORTION SURVIVOR. She was 13 years old when she became pregnant with me and the only option she knew of (according to her mother) was abortion. She proceeded to go to an abortion clinic nearby where she had an abortion. A few weeks later she realized she was still pregnant and decided to go to an out-of-state late-term abortion clinic to have a second abortion. During her examination at the late-term abortion clinic, she was told that she had been pregnant with TWINS. One was aborted, and one survived. She was also told that it was too late to have even a late-term abortion. She decided to give me up for adoption when I was born two weeks later. If you ask her now, she will tell you that if she had known the results of abortion vs. adoption, she would have gone straight to the adoption agency instead. Putting me up for adoption (and giving me the best family I can imagine) was a life-changing decision for all of us.

Because of the abortion, I was born 2 ½ months premature and weighed 3 lbs 2 oz. I was on life support and had to stay in the hospital for 2 ½ months until I could be brought home. My hips were dislocated and my feet were turned (because during the abortion, the sac that held my body together was broken) and when I was brought home I had 2 casts on my feet and a harness. I was put in a body cast for 4 months, and I didn’t walk until I was over 2 years old. It still affects me even today.

Pro-Life? Can’t Vote Democrat

Posted by John Hitchcock on 2014/07/19

The Editor of The First Street Journal found another lying Democrat. There are some rules of writing that say when a word is defined in part by a qualifier, the qualifier is unnecessarily redundant; therefore, it is unnecessarily redundant to add the qualifier “lying” to the word “Democrat”. Democrats win elections by lying. There is a good chance that Democrats would never have more than a small minority position in most State Legislatures and the US government without their lies. Republicans want to throw granny over the cliff. Republicans have a war on women. Republicans are all racists. Heck, the race card has been so overplayed as to not mean anything anymore. Democrats have fought for all the Civil Rights Laws we have in this country. The long list of proven Democrat lies could go on forever. So what’s so important that the Editor of The First Street Journal would point out another Democrat lying? It’s the Pro-Life nature of the Democrat. Or, rather, it’s the lie that he’s in any way Pro-Life at all.

Well, we have just found out how pro-life Senator Casey really is. The pro-abortion forces introduced S. 1696, the Women’s Health Protection Act, which is designed to eliminate state restrictions on abortion, through the entire nine months of pregnancy. It was in response to restrictions imposed in states like Texas, where abortion clinics are required to meet rigorous safety and health standards. The Texas law1 is designed, unquestionably, to reduce the number of abortion clinics in the Lone Star State, but it was also in response to “Dr” Kermit Gosnell’s little shop of horrors. When it came time to actually vote on S. 1696, the devout Roman Catholic, pro-life Senator Casey, who represents the state in which “Dr” Gosnell was “practicing,” voted for the bill, as did every other Democrat in the Senate.2

With that vote, Senator Casey just told us, through deeds, that his words are nothing but lies. Senator Casey could have attempted to provide some “moderation,” some bit of pro-life sentiment, which he claims to have, by voting against the bill, because, in the end, the bill is both symbolic and meaningless: its chance of passage by the Republican-controlled House of Representatives is infinitesimally small.

If you’re Pro-Life, you cannot vote Democrat. Because Democrats are only Pro-Life to get your vote. Afterward, they are pro-abort in every sense of the word. But you also have to be careful which Republican gets your vote. Because there’s more than one Republican who is pro-abort. And no Democrat wants you to see the photos to the left, because that might make you vote against the Democrat and against abortion on demand.

Progressives, Mainstream Media Are Anti-Semites

Posted by John Hitchcock on 2014/07/18

Sorry for the redundancy in the headline. While Truth Before Dishonor is decidedly pro-Israel, as is any Bible-believing Christian, the Democrat Party, as shown in their loudly booing the insertion of pro-Israel language in its platform in 2012, Progressives, Mainstream Media (brought to you by the Redundant Department of Redundancy) are decidedly anti-Israel. To the extreme that they support Islamic Jihadists, Islamic terrorists, child-murdering war criminals against the peace-desiring, self-defense-minded, self-preservation minded Israelis and the only nation in the Middle-East that is both Democratic and tolerant of Mohammedism, Christianity, Judaism, atheism.

From Robert Stacy McCain:

Here’s how the liberal mind works: The only thing they need to know is, “Who’s the victim of oppression?” Once the liberal media decides Palestinians are victims and Israelis are oppressors, it doesn’t matter what actually happens — Hamas suicide bombers blowing up busloads of innocent Israelis, launching missiles at Tel Aviv, whatever — the victim/oppressor dynamic controls the narrative.

Stand for Freedom.
Stand for religious tolerance.
Stand for Democratic rule of Law.
Stand against genocide.
Stand against bigotry.

Stand up for the right of Israel to exist and Jews to live.
Down with the lying Media. Down with the lying Hamas and State-sponsored Terrorism.

If You Have A #Pro-Life Site That Is Working To Prevent #Abortion

Posted by John Hitchcock on 2012/10/23

If you have a Pro-Life site that is working to prevent abortions, please let me know about it. If your site is working in the crisis pregnancy realm, so much the better. I want to compile a list of Pro-Life sites for my side-bar, a way to reach out to the nation at-large. And I’m very interested in providing resources to young women who find themselves in the scary position of being pregnant with no hope for the future. Sites, services, organizations offering abortion alternatives and counseling are very much welcome and desired.

Young women who are unexpectedly expectant need easy access to caring people who will help them in their hour of need, and I want to help be a conduit to those services they seek. And this is where you come in. If you run a site, work for an organization that runs a site, know an organization with a site that offers loving guidance, let me know about it so I can add it to my site.

Is ‘Pro-Life Woman’ Even Possible?

Posted by John Hitchcock on 2012/03/27

Pennsylvania Legislator Babette Josephs (D - Phila) (click to embiggen, if you dare)

Not according to a Democrat Pennsylvania Legislator from Philadelphia.

‘I don’t believe they’re really women. … I believe they’re men with breasts.’

Baby killer Kermit Gosnell, who did his heinous deeds in Philadelphia, and those like him thank you for all the business you send their way.

Where are all the feminist organizations? Why have they not denounced this Democrat misogynist, and stridently so? Oh, that’s right. The feminist organizations aren’t actually out to support all women or to protect all women from misogynist attacks. They only wish to protect Leftist women from misogynist attacks.

My mother is Pro-Life. My sister is Pro-Life. My daughter is Pro-Life. My cousins, both male and female, both by blood and by marriage, are Pro-Life. In fact, I don’t know a single member of my nuclear or extended family that is pro-abortion. And babs is accusing all the female members of my extended family of being men with boobs. But she gets a pass from the “don’t say bad things about women” crowd because she is a Leftist saying bad things about Conservative women (who don’t really count as women).

When you target a group of people as the source of your woes, then you dehumanize those people, you can kill those people without a pang of guilt, because you have rotted your own brain and propagandized the populace into rotted brains. And when people stand up and rehumanize those you dehumanized, you need to dehumanize the defendants of your victims you had previously dehumanized. And this is exactly what rotted-brained radical Leftists like Babette Josephs are busily doing. They have to dehumanize and de-womanize women who stand up for the Truth: that unborn babies are in actuality humans. Because the radical Left cannot stand for the Truth to be told or to be shown to those who have bought into the pro-abort Lie.

Target a group of people, blame them for holding people down, turn them into non-persons, turn society against them, then exterminate them, all legal-like.

And when people stand up to your evil, Alinskyite, satanic agenda, dehumanize them as well! Just like Babette Josephs is doing to women who refuse to toe the radical Leftist line. But she is not the only radical Leftist woman de-womanizing Conservative women. You remember that Tennessee Democrat who declared you have to lift the skirts of Republican woman voters to prove they’re women (because they don’t vote like women)? If you’re a politically astute Conservative, you absolutely know about that incident. But if you’re a radical Leftist, or if you’re one of millions of uninformed people (that would be ignorant people), chances are you haven’t heard much, if anything, about that. But I’ve covered that incident previously. And on more than one occasion. So has Michelle Malkin, Hot Air, Red State, Free Republic, Rush Limbaugh, and many, many others. (About 14,300,000 results in the above-linked search.)

As Tina Korbe in the very first link said,

Make no mistake: Feminism in its present day iteration does not teach us to use our freedom for something other than motherhood or for something in addition to motherhood. We all know women are capable of bearing fruit in a myriad of ways — not just by having children — and that they should not be denied opportunities to contribute to society in ways other than motherhood.

No, feminism seeks to actually take that freedom from us by obscuring the terms of the debate. A woman who does not know reality has no meaningful freedom to speak of because she has only false choices. A woman, for example, who thinks that she can become pregnant without becoming a mother is unable to make a meaningful choice between non-motherhood and motherhood.

Oh women, please don’t buy the lies! Wake up and claim the freedom that is your due!

What’s Babette complaining about? Women sponsored a Bill in the Pennsylvania Legislature that would require abortionists to show women the ultrasound videos of their babies they are planning to kill. And Babette tried to make that demand for information to be proof that these “men with breasts” don’t believe women can make informed decisions! The requirement to provide information the radical Left don’t want provided is proof that those who require that information be presented to women want women to be ignorant! Who, in his or her right mind, can actually claim that requiring information is a demand that people be uninformed? Only radical Leftists would make that claim!

Oh, and for a bit of Rule 5, a commenter on Hot Air provides the ultimate. Read the rest of this entry »

NARAL Decides To Invite Pro-Aborts To Upload Pics To Flickr

Posted by John Hitchcock on 2011/05/26

And a strange thing happened. As of right now, there are over 39,000 pics. And almost all of them are Pro-Life! Earlier in the day, a member of the pro-abort NARAL checked in on the site and found such a huge wave of Pro-Life all over their Flickr page and started deleting left and lefter, but couldn’t keep up.

Kathleen Gilbert of Life Site News has the story.

What’s that, NARAL? Put a face to the debate, you say? You got it!

Update 4: Victory: Pro-lifers officially took over NARAL’s Flickr photostream at about 4:30 pm, when the entire first page was pro-life – except one somewhat dowdy pic of a pro-abort guy for appropriate contrast. Since then, the musket shot has changed to cannon fire, with the whole page fluctuating in a push-and-pull of pro-life and pro-choice. (Full page image here.)

The Law of Unintended Consequences in full force. I’m sure sometime tomorrow, the whole thing will be torn down (because pic-by-pic deletion is far too inefficient). But here are some pics that were posted there.

As I said, there were over 39,000 pics, nearly all Pro-Life at the time of this posting, and many had already been removed so the totals would have been well over 40,000. I doubt the Flickr page stays up for long.

UPDATE:
As of 2055 today, those over 39,000 pics have been reduced to 2,304 pics, or less than 6 percent of last night’s total when I checked it last. Remember, NARAL had already done an afternoon purge earlier, so what remains is clearly less than 5 percent of the total actual pics. I have read that NARAL re-worked their submission process, requiring submissions go to a different address where a screening process took place (Imagine a hate group like NARAL forgetting to have a screening process.) and a couple other steps were added. I don’t know if NARAL did a complete purge or just went through and eliminated only the Pro-Life pics (like the ones in this article I found on their site), but, given the very low percentage of pics today compared to pics last night (after a previous purge), it would actually look better for NARAL’s numbers if they did do a complete purge first. I mean, after at least two different purges of Pro-Life pics, less than 1 in 20 pics survived? It would look better if NARAL claimed to have done a total purge and “reset button” on their Flickr page, whether that’s what they did or no.
