Can you stop being offended long enough to watch this roast of Sammy Davis, Jr? Can you laugh along with all the audience and all the people on the dais? Or do you always look for a reason to be offended?

Hi, AOTC. I’ve been rather busy these past couple years. After being in my truck for 500,000 miles in two years, and training people practically the entire time, I’ve switched trucking companies. I’m not currently training, so my miles have dropped a lot, but it’s now affordable to drive solo in a truck I’m leasing. I still keep up with some blogs, and in the last year or so, I’ve become a partial world traveler instead of just a US traveler.
I do worry very much about this country as the Democrats have been taken over by the Socialists, and the Republican leadership has been taken over by the pseudo-communists. And I hope my voice still makes a difference, but I fear it may be too late.

Wow, John. Just yesterday I told a buddy at lunch the democrats have been taken over by communists and the Republicans by socialists and I’m stuck outside the entire loop by still believing in a constitutional republic ad capitalism.
