ISIS threatens to destroy Chicago and Americans shrug

“E Pluribus Unum” no more.

WGNtv Chicago posts the alarming “news” that ISIS has the destruction of Chicago in its sights.

And Americans fed up with the totalitarian collectivists and moral nihilist appetite entities of the left who have already eaten away at not only our civilization but at our heritage of liberties, react with a shrug at the notion of the mayor of chicago trapped in the flaming ruins of the ecological niche his leftist ambition fouls and undermines.

We recall of course  that some 13 years ago progressive propagandist and cherished celebrity, His Rotundity Michael Moore, infamously set the stage for the spread of this attitude, when he asked in dismay why the Muslims had to attack New York, a liberal metropolis, rather than some conservative heartland site.

Gee, if the terrorists had just murdered conservative Christians, then Michael Moore could have understood, and maybe even sympathized.

Yeah Michael you submoral dog. So much for E Pluribus Unum, eh?

Well, thirteen years into it, those Americans who still value liberty and self-direction have gotten so used to the homicidal malice of the collectivist class, that they now, in turn, shrug at the thought of the collectivists themselves being destroyed by morally alien forces.

The underlying question is: What do you actually lose, when a malevolent parasite which has attached itself to you through your own long suffering tolerance and forbearance, is swept away by another?

Many have noticed that modern liberalism and Islamism are both anti-liberty of conscience, socially fascistic, and legally totalitarian ideologies. Many freedom loving Americans, less naive than their parents and grandparents, are apparently now prepared to stand back and watch “Hitler “and “Stalin” destroy each other; even if the war takes place on our own soil.

The question of whether the destruction would have unstoppably catastrophic side effects aside, it’s hard to blame a free man for shrugging at the destruction of those emotionalists who are, and have been, working for decades to destroy his freedom and ultimately his life.

What has a free man got to lose, when one flavor of collectivist is killed by another?

Now here is something puzzling: the comments don’t seem to load up from the WGNtv link above anymore. Nor from the old (earlier today) history link, nor from internal links in the web page I preserved .

      Chicago goes up and this president must be removed before he takes the rest of the country down Impeachment and removal. He has clearly shown a total disregard for the security of this country and dares play golf at a time of crisis. Unfortunately, with ISIS here, possibly, we will need to employ every weapon at our disposal to eliminate them and their threat. Without security, what good is anything.

      make no mistake. obama, democrats, libs, etc…truly believe in the undoing of Aimerican pride, power, success, etc…and a much more destructive and impoverished world is the natural result, when you undercut a free people.

      so, let the reaping of their sowing be true. these dark-hearted people are intent on allowing more evil, and letting it come here. therefore, let it come upon them FIRST!

      my prayer since obama’s first election has been simple: let ALL them that voted for him reap to the fullest, what they have sown: social degradation (ferguson), economic failure (unemployment, welfarism), and ground zero as the next terrorist attack (chicago)

      Most Americans don’t have the stomach for what it would take to truly rid the world of this cancer. Rules of Engagement, the enemy using human shields and hiding in schools, religious temples and mosques all make any operation dicey, and open to scrutiny by those too meek to even take part — but not afraid to arm-chair QB. Once again, the U.S. is alone because our allies in Europe don’t have the stones to do what is needed. Once again, we will inevitably come to the rescue and risk our troops, spend our money and resources, and bear the burden of fighting another terrorist group in someone else’s backyard — while the rest of the world does nothing but judge. The only way to rid the world of these guys is to take them head on with severe malice. No more of the ticky-tack, PC, inoffensive stuff. Either we go in guns blazing and with bad intentions, or we sit out and tell the rest of the world to figure it out.

    As you certainly do realize, no one from the conservative or libertarian side – probably – actually shrugs at the destruction of America. What they shrug at is the idea that the American left may well, and in particular, reap the destructiveness which they have deliberately sown here in our country, and enabled abroad.

    We all remember Michael Moore’s villainous remarks after the 9/11 attacks on the US.

    Well, it now looks as though the freedom-valuing human targets of leftist contempt, scorn, and legal subversion, have arrived at the point of reciprocating Moore’s attitude.

    And while we all agree that defending our families and our liberty is taken for granted, what many now regretfully accept, is that the left has never felt, nor believed that we are all Americans “together”.

    For the land-of-liberty-America, the America of constitutional government, of enumerated powers, of voluntary association and of self-governance in the large and small senses of the term, is an America that the leftists have themselves been at war with for many decades.

    America needs to be defended. But the days of aligning emotionally with “Uncle Joe” Stalin, even so far as the “Uncle Joe” Stalins within our own polity, are clearly over.

    Michael Moore could, out of a desperate desire to ingratiate himself, wrap himself in an American flag and toot patriotic songs out of his ass through a tin whistle, and it still wouldn’t matter to me one whit what Islamic extremists did to him, if they caught him.

    The left have placed themselves so far beyond the moral pale that there is no chance for them to crawl back on their own.

    It’s my hope that deluded or soft-hearted conservatives or libertarians don’t assist them in that attempt, should ever the shit really hit the fan in the US.

    Because to do so in the name of “standing united” or some such similar now empty slogan, would be soft-headed, not soft-hearted.

    I was about to say I can’t get WGN’s comment field from here in the Philippines, but apparently, too many people were less than horrified at the idea of Al Capone’s town being targeted. Go figure, the most corrupt city in all of the US being targeted and the rest of the country says “ho hum”. While it is a good rhetorical device as a (completely missed) wake-up call to the Corrupticrat donkeys, I would still want all Islamic Terrorists dead, swiss cheese even.

    And make no mistake, ISIS are not radical or radicalized anything. They are following the letter and spirit of the Quran. It is Mohammedanism, the worship of the false god created by the false prophet who liked to bugger unblossomed little girls, which is a plague on all of society wherever it foments and ferments.

    The US Marine Corps Anthem specifically points to the war with these Mohammedans from all the way back at the beginning of the US. Nothing has changed. The play-book is still the same. Turn the page.

I am from Sh#tcago as I believe one of you so eloqently put it and did not vote for Obama and know many who didnt. And the country voted for him NOT just fokks from Chicago. So what now? Are you all gonna start your own jihad against anyone who voted for him? THIS type of behavior is whats gonna bring this country down. Say what you will about the Muslims nit those m-f’rs know how to stick together. They know we’re divided and when they see bs like what is being said here they know they got us. We may all have our differences in this country, but just like family, you fu#k with one of us you fu#k with all of us.     Thanks for your comments. Obviously you disagree quite strongly with both those who actually made the comments, and my understanding, if not explicit validation of their point.

    Your main point is that we are all Americans and that we ought to stick together, as one, through thick and thin.

    My point is that the left in this country successfully killed off that idea – though not in quite the way they hoped – quite some time ago when they targeted the middle class and the freedom loving Americans for state slavery.

    My further point is that it is not in my interest to be the slave of a wannabe-slave of the state; and, if that is what a plurality of the people in this polity want to become, then to hell with them as well as the willing slaves of Allah.

    It seems that many of those commenters agree with that principle; though how serious they are about what they are actually saying is difficult to determine.

    Obama plainly said he was out to fundamentally transform America. He implied in his praise of “positive rights” ( as distinct from our ‘charter of negative liberties’ which tells the government to leave you alone and free to hoe your own row) that he is in favor of a fascistic social solidarity and cost shifting regime; a regime in which it becomes your legal and life duty to enable and underwrite the life satisfactions of others, no matter how antithetical or obnoxious.

    The point Lee, is that the left has been waging unscrupulous “war by other means” (social and political) for years, and that they consider freedom and self-direction obsolete ideas. They are not fellow Americans in any sense but the most formal, empty, and meaningless sense.

    I don’t wish death on anyone, but I am persuaded it is not in my interest to sacrifice myself for those who have been for generations now, wishing, and working to effect mine and those like me.

    To save them is not political patriotism, for that which was once admirable as a polity has been nearly wrecked. Neither is to sacrifice and save the left in the name of national patriotism, patriotic- since we are not really one organic people; and as far as “Patria” goes, they of the left are not of my fathers’ land and values, but are instead self-proclaimed enemies of my both fathers and my own enjoyment of that heritage of freedom and political liberties my fathers once bequeathed to me.

    What do I have to say to you personally?

    Good luck. And if the shit really hits the fan, and you need to go off in search of refuge, first strip off those Obama and Coexist bumper stickers from your car before you show up at my vacation farm.
