The Sandlot Bully

Posted by Yorkshire on 2013/10/10

I think this explains well BO mentality of being a Bully, being detached, pictures with his nose in the air, his giving his opponents the finger while appearing to be in thought, his petty attitude and all the other immature ways he acts. I think his maturity level is stuck in his teens. He acts like the sandlot bully kicking sand in people’s faces and taking his toys home. Is he close to being unhinged??????

Is Obama locked in a victim mentality?

President Obama’s rhetoric is finally coming closer to what appears to be his psychological truth: Because America victimized him and countless millions of others, any person or party or movement that opposes his views and does not yield to him is not just his adversary, but abusive, predatory and even threatening.

Again and again, President Obama has described members of Congress who insist on fiscal responsibility as having taken “hostages,” “demanding a ransom,” using “extortion,” and threatening to “blow up” the government.

On Tuesday, in fact, the president used these exact words when speaking to the press, “What you haven’t seen before, I think from the vantage point of a lot of world leaders, is the notion that one party in Congress might blow the whole thing up if they don’t get their way,” he said. Later he added, “you do not hold people hostage or engage in ransom taking to get 100 percent of your way.”

It is exceedingly difficult to come to terms with a person who sees you as his oppressor, his kidnapper, and someone terrorizing him who might well destroy him. You aren’t likely to consider whether your assailant and jailer and would-be killer has a few good ideas, after all.

Seeing Barack Obama as someone who has a victim mentality would explain a lot. That mentality relies on believing one has been harmed, that one was not responsible for the injuries that occurred, that one could not have prevented what happened and that the person’s suffering makes that person morally right and deserving of sympathy.

it always seemed O had a monumental chip on his shoulder. it seems most modern liberals do. so,they develop or subscribed to, an ideology that ironically enslaves and oppresses the very people they claim to rescue. all the while holding tightly to the chips on their shoulders. a person who doesn’t believe they are free or believes they are a victim is least likely to be able to lead others out of bondage. this ironically makes modern liberals the completely wrong folks to execute the tenants of their own ideology. yet they are quite self righteous in the attempt. weird.

this from Kenneth Minogue’s book (RIP Ken) is a pretty good explanation of what I tried explain…

from page 337 of the late Kenneth Minogue’s 2010 volume, The Servile Mind:

“The essence of the servile mind is the readiness to accept external direction in exchange for being relieved of the burden of a set of virtues such as thrift, self‑control, prudence, and indeed civility itself.  A national health service trades off thrift and the freedom to spend one’s own money in exchange for a guarantee that medical help will always be ‘costlessly’ available.  Accepting this trade‑off, then, comes to be understood as a virtue in itself, to be contrasted with those selfish people prepared to spend their own wealth on better treatment.  Obedience here as in other places is wrongly identified with the rule of law.  One measure of the moral decline involved in this advance of servility is that corrupt people, ranging from businessmen to legislators, justify a greedy lack of integrity by claiming that they did not break any rules.  A casuistical use of the idea that morality is nothing more than abiding by rules comes to be a license for a self‑serving misuse of office and responsibility…”

My only question would be if it’s a pose, or a genuine world view.

I think that you give the petulant Twerp in Chief too much credit by comparing him to a “bully”. He can only bully those who gutlessly shrink from a fight.

To that extent, frankly, the timorous almost deserve what they get. Too bad they drag us along with them

Michael Medved’s spectacular hyperventilating the other day over the “financial crisis” that the Republican’s stand might cause is a major example. Who gives a shit if it falls apart?

The individual mandate has reduced us under law to the status of state property
(while breaking, frankly, any social or moral bonds with those who advocate it) and people like Medved are worried about our credit rating? Really?

AOTC has it right in the text she’s quoted. But Americans, supposed “conservative” Americans in fact, are so worried about a point of interest uptick, or a missed social security payment that they would sell themselves or their children into perpetual legal bondage so they can watch TV undisturbed.

What a race of gutless moral garbage many among us have become. No, people aren’t afraid of dying, no not of that.

Many would gladly do so for a host of reasons. What they are afraid of is the cost of being a man.

I’ll give you an example of the attitude.

I’m sure you have been on planes that made emergency landings … blown engines, lightening strikes … whatever. You might have thought you were going to crash. Recall what was on your mind? I do.

Ok, so I later read about some other plane that went down or was in danger of doing so, and one of the family members on the ground commenting on the “loved one” says … “I hope they have (or had) someone’s hand to hold”.

That’s it. Moral morons helplessly nuzzling and snuffling in each others’ faces before they are snuffed out: for them the apex of what it is to be a man.

God Almighty. We’re arguing about the color of the curtains in the barracks as they load us onto cattle cars. And the Americans who once shook their heads in wonder at the Jews of Europe who meekly climbed in, won’t risk economic turmoil in order to save their own freedom?

This human garbage in Washington now has for the first time in our nation’s history a legally presumed and open ended (we ain’t talkin’ some draft during war time here amigos) legal power to lay a claim against a citizen for just being alive.

And our elected representatives are so afraid of the gears of government not grinding smoothly that they oil the very gears that will grind us and them together.

How can any man of them be so so pathetic as to claim that he is being bullied, when he’s more concerned with missing his lunch than being sodomized?

Bully? The idea that anyone could think that the moral miscreant in the Oval Office rises to the level of a bully just shows how far many Americans and their elected representatives have plummeted into sub-moral enervation and demoralization.

there are people who think as you do about all this. the question I ask is, are there enough? history suggests it all goes down the crapper once conditions are ripe.

seems its all circling the bowl.

AOTC, Dana posted this: http://www.journal14.com/2013/10/11/whats-going-on-here/ And a Blog called “Modern Survival Blog” posted this similar post here: http://modernsurvivalblog.com/terrorism-war/nukes-transferred-and-top-nuclear-commanders-fired/ Both focus on a Nuke Commander that was fired. Dana’s is on speculation of incompetence, while Survival focuses on a False Flag incident diverted by the General. I spent over an hour last night doing all variations of web search to either prove or disprove this:

Obama Ousts Top Officers After Nuke Explodes In Ocean Instead Of Charleston
    http://www.eutimes.net/2013/10/obama-ousts-top-officers-after-nuke-explodes-in-ocean-instead-of-charleston/

So, I got nowhere. But watching the impetulance of BO over the last few weeks makes me wonder.
