Ronald Reagan: A Time For Choosing

Posted by John Hitchcock on 2012/04/09

No nation in history has ever survived a tax burden that reached a third of its national income. Today, 37 cents out of every dollar earned in this country is the tax collector’s share…

The US corporate tax rate is currently the highest in the industrialized world. The Federal Government is currently borrowing 40 cents out of every Dollar it spends.

We have 15 billion dollars in gold in our treasury; we don’t own an ounce. Foreign dollar claims are 27.3 billion dollars. And we’ve just had announced that the dollar of 1939 will now purchase 45 cents in its total value.

One word: China. Also, have you seen the price of gasoline today, compared to when Obama was elected? Or the price of beef or any other foodstuffs?

We’re at war with the most dangerous enemy that has ever faced mankind in his long climb from the swamp to the stars, and it’s been said if we lose that war, and in so doing lose this way of freedom of ours, history will record with the greatest astonishment that those who had the most to lose did the least to prevent its happening. Well I think it’s time we ask ourselves if we still know the freedoms that were intended for us by the Founding Fathers.

Islamic Jihad, the Maoist/Marxist/Socialist agenda of today’s Democrat leaders. ObamaCare. Violation of Christian First Amendment rights so other people can have “free” abortifacients. Fast and Furious. Incandescent light bulbs. Cloward-Piven, which Obama is, without doubt, following.

Not too long ago, two friends of mine were talking to a Cuban refugee, a businessman who had escaped from Castro, and in the midst of his story one of my friends turned to the other and said, “We don’t know how lucky we are.” And the Cuban stopped and said, “How lucky you are? I had someplace to escape to.” And in that sentence he told us the entire story. If we lose freedom here, there’s no place to escape to. This is the last stand on earth.

Obama. The Democrat agenda.

Bill Cosby Breaks Silence On Trayvon Martin

Posted by John Hitchcock on 2012/04/09

That’s ABC’s title.

When I entered Malone College in Canton, Ohio, I loved chocolate. … Alright, I liked chocolate, having already accidentally breaking myself of sweets. (That’s a different story, that I intend to tell you in another article, now that I brought it up.) I accidentally broke myself of liking chocolate (it’s okay if I have some, okay if I don’t) almost immediately after enrolling at Malone College. A very quick walk past the post office and across the highway to 31st street brought me to Dairy Queen. I bought a sundae that destroyed my like for chocolate. I bought a sundae. A hot fudge sundae. With double chocolate ice cream instead of vanilla. A double chocolate hot fudge sundae with sprinkles. A large double chocolate hot fudge sundae with sprinkles. A large double chocolate hot fudge sundae with extra sprinkles. A large double chocolate hot fudge sundae with extra chocolate sprinkles.

That killed my like for chocolate, about half way through the evil thing.

ABC’s article provides a Bill Cosby video that I did not watch. But I did read the article, and holy cow! If it isn’t the above sundae version of propaganda!!! Holy cow! ABC doesn’t even try to be honest in its revisionist history hit-job for its radical Leftist race-baiting hit-job!

Holy cow!

A grand jury later found insufficient evidence of a rape, and Brawley and her advisers — including Rev. Al Sharpton, who was thrust into the spotlight — were successfully sued for defamation. The incident inflamed racial tension nationwide.

Holy cow! What a propagandastic hit piece! Al Sharpton, the race-baiter extraordinaire, was not “thrust into the spotlight”! He actively and violently forced his way into the spotlight! He, himself, caused a violent mob to violently vandalize and pillage and murder! He is responsible for the murder of an innocent! And for mob violence! And for mob vandalism! Al Sharpton, the absolute racist race-baiter, should have been wholly criminally responsible for all the violence, all the vandalism, and the murder that he caused! He should have gone to prison for the rest of his life and been forced to pay multiple millions of dollars in fines for his criminal actions! “Successfully sued for defamation”? Are you serious, ABC, with that absolutely passive declaration? As if Al Sharpton didn’t bring it upon himself!!! Al Sharpton actively forced himself into a situation and actively participated in behaviors that were so far beyond the pale that he got only a taste of his just rewards! He’ll get the full flavor once he sees the Great White Throne. And that’s a guarantee. (For the record, Born-Again Christians do not stand before The Great White Throne.)

ABC News produced an absolutely propagandastic, dishonorable, dishonest, race-baiting, radical Leftist-loving hit piece and took no interest in reporting actual, you know, facts in its malicious, agenda-filled misreporting.

Oh, by the way! Look how ABC so sweetly and so blatantly inserted its anti-Second Amendment agenda into the story! Syrupy sweet and absolutely disgusting! It is to hurl!

Congratulations To Our Homeschool Journey!

Posted by John Hitchcock on 2012/04/09

Truth Before Dishonor has received its 50th “like”! That honor goes to Our Homeschool Journey.

As a former home school parent (who did absolutely all the work and paid absolutely all the money without the aid of my former wife to whom I was married at the time), I fully support Home Schooling over the absolutely and abysmally failed Leftist-run and Leftist-indoctrinated “free” Public Education systems. In that, I fully support “Our Homeschool Journey” and its desire to support home-schooling. But, as a circumcised man and a staunch Bible believer and Jew & Israel supporter, I cannot at all support the idea that “circumcision is unnecessary”. At all. Ever.

But if you’re into Home Schooling, you might want to check out TBD’s 50th “liker”, Our Homeschool Journey.
This has been an unpaid non-endorsement of “Our Homeschool Journey”, the 50th “liker” on Truth Before Dishonor.

Small Time Truth Before Dishonor Shows Off Its Success

Posted by John Hitchcock on 2012/04/09

Truth Before Dishonor is a micro-blog along the same lines as micro-breweries. In that, I mean that, on the aggregate, Truth Before Dishonor does not reach very many of the blog-reading public (which I would like to see changed) but has numerous products which are in my (not so humble) estimation high quality. It’s just for a more refined palate and a more narrow consumer band than I would prefer (the consumer band, not the palate). But as a micro-blog, Truth Before Dishonor has been relatively successful.

The above data are my internal viewership data, which is different than both my sitemeter data and my flag counter data. My internal viewership data tells me directly that none of my page views on my own site count. I have reason to believe that none of my editors’ viewerships count, either. And that’s a good thing. The numbers don’t represent the couple months TBD was a Blogger site, before I switched it to a WordPress site. (One rule to improve readership is to link to sites that allow trackbacks and pings, to increase your readership. Blogger makes pings and trackbacks very difficult or impossible to do.)

Looking at the statistics, it is very easy to detect where TBD got a major viewership bump from a trackback to Hot Air very early on in TBD’s existence. One can also declare with relative accuracy where TBD started its dormancy, and with absolute accuracy where TBD ended its dormancy. The slide-off seen in the renewed activity stage points to TBD’s not wholly following my Rule 1 (be consistent), in that TBD stopped posting daily and started posting sporadically. And this month’s jump is a direct result of a closer adherence to Rule 1 and an emphasis on Rule 5 (along with prominence on The Other McCain, which would fit in Rule 6 since I have actively sought — and received — attention from The Other McCain). Also note TBD’s recent foray into Rule 5 has also followed Rule 1: be consistent. The two most recent articles that followed Rule 5 actually used it to promote actual articles and not just pretty faces (and bods).

The statistics above show where TBD was actively following the rules I laid out (piggy-backing on RS McCain’s superior rules) and where TBD was negligent in following the rules. But clearly, TBD and its multiple authors has been successful in garnering a share of the politically aware crowd. And TBD is a plateaued growing site. Plateaued due to insufficiently following the rules, and growing due to following the rules.

And TBD’s Rule 1(a) is the most important.
