Truth Before Dishonor Officially Endorses Mia Love For US House Of Representatives (UT-4)
Mia Love is a gun-totin (concealed carry) TEA Party Constitutional Conservative. Her Issues Page runs through a very wide array of issues and her TEA Party Common Sense Constitutional Conservative stance on each and every one.
She wants to take power away from the bloated Central Government and return it to We the People, as the Founders and Framers set forth. She has a track record of reducing taxes and cutting spending (not just reducing the rate of growth), causing her city — in her position as the mayor — to improve its credit rating. What’s not to like? (HT Hot Air)

The principles reflected in the tea party are not at odds with the values of black Americans. You don’t have to be white — or black, or Hispanic, or Asian, or anything else — to care about the important issues facing our nation. My priorities of fiscal discipline, personal responsibility and smaller government draw upon my own experience as an American.
My parents immigrated to this country from Haiti with nothing but a strong family and a solid work ethic. My father, who took two jobs to help pay for my education, was a living example of personal responsibility. He is proud to say he didn’t take a handout. When I graduated from college, my father told me, “You will not be a burden to society. You will give back.”

We can no longer afford to keep spending money on programs that aren’t working. Trimming government and getting it out of the way of economic recovery is the best way to create jobs and wealth that enable people to pull themselves out of poverty.
Again, what’s not to like?

She told me once that a social worker had told her that she would make more money if she quit her job and went on welfare. Here’s something (for certain people) to think about:
From what information I have gleaned, Mia Love is Mormon.
I have written multiple times that Mormons are decidedly not Christians. I even wrote an article stating such. And I am a Fundamentalist Evangelical Protestant Christian (old school variety)*. And yet, here I am endorsing a woman whom I believe to be a Mormon for the US House of Representatives. Let me state my position even more clearly. A woman in my Protestant Denomination cannot, cannot ever, become a Deacon, let alone a Pastor, due specifically to the words of Scripture. And yet, here I am endorsing a woman to become one of only 435 Representatives (out of a nation of over 300 million souls). And, as the editor pointed out, I endorsed a woman to be President of the entire Nation.
My endorsement of Mia Love, with the background of all this information, will only come as a shock to Liberals who read these words. Conservatives understand.
As I have also said on numerous occasions, I believe the Bible when it says homosexuality is an abomination. I also believe the Bible when it talks about people being in bondage to their sins, which would necessarily mean homosexuals are enslaved to homosexuality. That said, I have, at the same time, declared my great respect for Jeff, who most definitely supports the homosexual agenda, and aphrael (who never could find the “shift” key for his name), who is an out-of-the-closet homosexual with a “husband” — within their political debating and punditry, despite their being wrong on practically everything.
That being said, I’m sure it will do nothing to assuage the fears and fear tactics of the anti-Christian Left and their “the Dominionists are trying to take over the Nation” bovine biproduct.

* It goes without saying that my being a Fundamentalist Evangelical Protestant Christian (old school variety) means that I believe the Catholic Church has very major and egregious flaws, but being a Christian, I believe that doesn’t prevent Catholics from being Christians, despite their flawed doctrines.
