Wow, JH. These racist dogs are out of control. With these animals it’s not business, it’s not politics, It’s personal.

Ya know Hitchcock, I take that back. With these animals it surely isn’t business but maybe it is politics ans maybe it is personal. Might even be personal politics. We have on one hand a genuine dark skinned black American, raised by lower middle economic working parents, who through his own personna and effort fought his way up the ladder of life. He has more executive and decision making experience in his little finger than Obambi has in his entire household. On the other hand we have a half communist half Kenyan hybred who mysteriously got into Harvard, suddenly went into politics, miraculously became rich and “Poof” is President. Yet the average black person will vote five times for the latter (six if he’s dead) and curses the former. Yeah, it’s personal politics for sure.

leftists are not against racism. actually it is their MO. frankly, they dont revere their own humanity let alone the humanity of the different races.

always remember. they make us follow our own held rules of virtue, but, THEY dont subscribe to those rules themselves. this is why they parade christian codes, tenets and various moral platitudes in our faces all the time. they keep us busy defending our flawed human state all the while themselves living under no code, save that code they make up on the fly. total autonomy, this is the position they take. it is one of complete power.. and complete insanity.

    ironic isnt it.

It will come as no surprise to anyone who has seen me bang this very drum before, that I personally find the phenomenon you are outlining to be one of the most interesting social dynamics of our time.

Now, hypocrisy, and even cynical manipulation of the values of others, have always been with us ( “us” considered as a civilized species).

But the shrugging indifference and shamelessness of modern progressive practitioners, taken as a class, is something that is I think, relatively ( in the last 50 years or so ) new.

The cynical and nihilistic social manipulator has always been present as a figure in literature, both sacred and secular. But the disapproval embedded in the text was usually at least implicit.

So, a French king shrugs that Paris is worth a Catholic mass; a “philosophe” wisecracks that if God did not exist we should be obligated to invent him; and, the list of intellectuals and wannbe intellectuals from Hobbes to Bentham to Comte to Marx to Dewey – all known to be bibing from the same stream, presents no surprises.

What is a bit surprising, is the political situation we now find ourselves in. Since the 1960’s at least, we have been unable to address many of our ordinary fellow citizens, and not just the red diaper babies, in a common moral language. The old words used are familiar, but the meanings, if any, are not.

Radically different, and logically antithetical views of the nature of humankind, vie in common political space; while any common notion of what is moral has evaporated away.

It is so apparent, that we are discussing it here, instead of in a classroom.

How then do you peaceably live alongside people who recognize no limits and no boundaries to their whims, nor to the claims they are willing to lay against other humans who just happen to be within a political arm’s reach?

The classical liberal polity was supposed by design to provide a space wherein different consciences could work out their various fates, refereed by an impartial government.

But the progressive is not interested in living in a classical liberal polity wherein he bears the burden or benefits of his own life choices, and physical inheritance. The progressive lacking a belief in a God or an intrinsically directed natural end, is driven to become his own god; and to make the evolution of all of humanity into gods (through the sub-agency of the state) his divine purpose.

Thus, we observe why pointing out the illogicality of their moral prescriptions – plainly contradicted by their own administered diagnosis of man’s existential condition as objectively meaningless – has no effect on them.

This isn’t for them about submission to reason, or to intellectual coherence, or logical consistency, or even the mind’s understanding.

A god, after all, makes his own reality – by following urges that the god just happens to have. The progressive kind of collective god of course does not create ex nihilo. But, like the ancient pagan gods, he is a part of a preexisting universe that just is. The progressive man-god, makes from the resources already to hand, in order to fulfill that preexisting urge which remains perpetually unexamined and logically unconditioned.

One thing though, does stand out as perfectly clear and well understood: To be worshiped is to really be, when it comes to being a god.

And ultimately for the progressive god-man there is no one else to love him other than those fellow gods which he fashions with his own hands from the clay of humanity. As politically fashioned artifacts which he adds to his pantheon, they above all else, must not be withholding nor indifferent.

His own progressive god-life is only validated by the love of others; and to be ignored, or loved only conditionally, is the from the point of view of our little progressive godlet, the only unforgivable sin.

His actual nature as a god, or where he is leading them doesn’t ultimately matter. Since in the end, even for progressive gods it’s all the same: the Gotterdammerung of entropy.

Until then though, a progressive god can stand to be anything, except ignored.
