Someone Is Trying To Defame Me

The moderated comment on my website:

UPDATE
The defamer tried to comment in this thread. Sitemeter gave me this information:

The defamer is in the US and not the UK as that ipfinder I used earlier suggested.

    Not even creative, is it?

  2. According to an ipfinder, the location of the person sending that comment that got moderated is from the UK.

  3. Well, the defamer is from the US, Sitemeter says.

Sounds like someone trying to hide their location.

  5. As you can see, I’ve screencapped the stuff. I’ve also kept the comments in the moderation filter, so they’re still available for whatever use I deem appropriate.

Regrettably, the geographic coordinates shown are the generic US coordinates, and the ISP is a general one. The theme used is the standard WordPress theme that you get when starting up a WordPress blog. It’s reprehensible, but I don’t know what you can do about it.

However, while I don’t know who did this, I do know of a similar stunt pulled on Brian, formerly of Iowa Voice and then Liberty Pundit. (Both sites are gone now.) The stunt was pulled by Henry Whistler and/or Mike Ganzeveld of the Iowa Liberal. That doesn’t mean they are guilty in this instance, but they’d be my first suspects.

  8. I thought that first but the ipfinder I used said unknown UK location so I changed my mind. But then SiteMeter said unknown US location, so my first suspects became my first suspects again. But this is a typical Leftist type attack. Use a form of Identity Theft in order to defame and malign the character of a Conservative. Much like the “infiltrate the tea party” attempt by the Leftist school teacher who wanted to use lies to defame the TEA Party but failed, and lost his job in the process for using school property and time for his little hate campaign.

I don’t know what can be done but I have emailed a certain Ivy League lawyer-type about it and I am keeping the screencaps and the moderated comments.

It looks like someone is a bit concerned: if you check the spoof site now, you’ll see that the posts are no longer by “John Hitchcock,” but by “admin.”

I left a comment, “Yeah, Jeromy, it figures that you’d want Teh Won to give you an endless supply of men,” which went into moderation, but it will let the perp know that we know who he is.

Trouble is, the spoofer in question is not using a wordpress.com address. He registered the site url with GoDaddy.com, where the standard fee for a new domain name is $11.99 per year, so he had to fork out at least that much money. How much he paid for the hosting service, I don’t know; if his hosting service is anything like mine, he could be having it hosted for free, piggybacked onto his own site bandwidth.

Of course, if the spoofer is who I think he is, he is a big supporter of homosexual rights. Now, why would someone who supports homosexual rights think that it’s an insult to imply that someone else is homosexual, unless he’s just being a huge hypocrite?

I get called a lesbian (and whore, etc) by folks who claim to see nothing wrong with those things. It’s normal. See also: racist and sexist language from the same group.

Trouble is, the spoofer in question is not using a wordpress.com address.

It may still apply since he’s using the wordpress format.

i find it delicious that the truth about liberals being ‘leeches’ is on display for all to see here. it is unfortunate that john has to be the target though.

evil is not original. badness is only spoiled goodness. evil is a parasite that cannot survive on its own, it must ‘steal’ or impose on real foundations to even exist. if its own premises were of foundational value it would not have to be the personification of thieves.

this is a perfect example of how leftists will justify ANY behavior for their ends, while still claiming to have ‘morality’ or ‘virtue’.

Are you serious, Dana? If what you are saying is not a mere conjecture, what it reveals about your “good friends'” lack of ethics is almost stupefying.
