They’re At It Again

Posted by John Hitchcock on 2010/02/10

Those Self-Proclaimed Right Wing Extremist™ Blogs are at it again. You gotta watch them very carefully. They’ll steal your soul.

Beers with Demo (or should that be White Lightning with Demo?) writes a very dangerous article, threatening to up-end the current political apple cider cart.

Bottom line: one should have every right to get nervous when the question of who does and doesn’t get to enjoy the guarantees of the 1st amendment becomes merely a privilege granted by Congress.

He even has the temerity to quote one of the most hated Supreme Court justices. Not only that, but he has the audacity to strongly suggest people read from a deceiver’s site, one who has been, so far, unwilling to admit the site is a Right Wing Extremist™ Blog.

From that subversive blog, Forgotten Liberty, we get this dangerously destructive statement:

Two things strike me as illogical in this statement. The first is the issue of precedent. Progressives love precedent when it supports something they approve of. They feel if they can get a court ruling in their favor, they have locked in their policies for generations. The Supreme Court usually defers to precedent, but it is not bound to do so. The only thing the Court is bound by is the Constitution. If the Court believes a previous court made a wrong decision, they can choose to correct it. This has happened many times in our history (usually in favor of Progressive policies), and to act like it never happens, is revisionist history.

The second issue in this statement that defies logic is that the Court ignored “the wishes of the elected branches of government”. This is exactly what the Court is supposed to do! The Court provides an important check and balance to the elected branches of government. They are not supposed to follow the wishes of Congress, the President, or even the American people. They are free to make decisions on the Constitution and the law without having to worry about elections and poll numbers. This is an important distinction of the judicial branch of our government. Is the President bound by the wishes of the Court? Is Congress bound by the wishes of the President? Of course not. If the Court is supposed to obey the wishes of the elected branches, what is the point of having a Supreme Court?

Another portion of Mr. Dionne’s column shows how the liberal mind is incapable of deciphering the logical fallacies in their own arguments.

Head Noises wants to steal your children’s chance for an education and make them all stupid. On top of that, she wants to starve out farmers and ranchers.

I really like the idea of removing the Federal Department of Education– do we really need to be giving FEDERAL LOANS when we’re already strapped for cash? I mean, really? Both of my parents managed to go through college without loans, Elf and I haven’t taken Federal loans…. Come to that, why do we call them loans when they’re not even designed to be repaid by the person who takes them out?

Slowly removing Federal involvement in agriculture and…oh, shoot, just go through this and ask yourself: do we really need a federal agency for that?

On top of that, she’s let it slip that she’s planning on leading a charge to starve out the poor. She’s being very cryptic in her plans but I’ve seen through them. Judge for yourself.

I’m trying to get a post on human motivation pulled together– it grew out of a conversation Elf and I had, on if folks realize they’re being counter-productive, selfish donkeys that are willing to sacrifice anything, so long as it’s not theirs.

Gold-Plated Witch on Wheels (note she doesn’t even try to hide her evilness) uses scare tactics to try to pull the unfortunate middle-class to the dark side, and, in the process, tries to make the evil George W Bush look like a guardian of light. Don’t take my word for it. Just listen to her words for yourself.

The point is that Barack Obama, who famously promised not to raise taxes on anyone making less than $250k per year, and the Democrats running Congress have loaded up on backdoor taxes on the middle class to pay for his budget-busting budget. This will largely be done by allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire. Our friend Dana at Common Sense Political Thought has chronicled how Obama is flatout lying when he says he won’t raise taxes on middle class folk precisely because of this tax cut expiration. I fully expect Democrats to tapdance around this and argue that letting tax cuts expire isn’t the same as raising taxes, but your wallet won’t know the difference.

She linked to another Self-Proclaimed Right Wing Extremist™ Blog. Talk about audacity. That’s proof of collusion out in the open. More on that later. But the self-proclaimed witch also linked to a couple other sites worthy of mention.

She cited Dump the Democrats, an obviously subversive blog just by its name choice, but is so subversive that it hasn’t proclaimed itself a Right Wing Extremist™ Blog. Going to that site, you are immediately met with an image of Darth Vader. And, quickly in the witch’s cited article, the author gives praise to the nefarious TEA Party.

The witch also linked to another site in an underhanded effort to prove the President is trying to destroy free speech. Talking Points Memo (don’t worry about the unfortunate name) appears to be on the side of good despite the witch’s linkage.

Obama administration aides appealed to the Reuters White House reporting team to kill a story by another reporter of the news service that suggested the president’s new budget blueprint included “backdoor” tax hikes.

When you read the article, you’ll see the President was right to kill the Reuters news article since it was full of lies.

Like I said, that evil witch, who has openly declared she’s dangerous, linked to Common Sense Political Thought, another blog that has openly declared it is dangerous. That out-and-out self-admitted dangerous man was busily looking at tea leaves and stars and the corns on his feet to attack the man who is now President. And he was absolutely drooling over the opportunity to mock suffering people and throw acid in their faces as he mocked them.

If there is any silver lining in the possibility of an Obama victory, it’ll be that we conservatives can say “I told you so” to our friends on the left, when Mr Obama does not push for any tax cuts, when he simply lets the Bush tax cuts expire in 2010. In that vein, I shall have a post written today but scheduled to appear next fall, reminding everybody who voted for Mr Obama that he was lying to them.

Over a year after President Obama took office, that evil man over at Common Sense Political Thought is still at it. He doesn’t even try to hide the fact he’s evil and a Nazi.

Well, I’m sure that many of them will never understand how we evil Reichwing conservatives can possibly disagree with them, but, you know, that’s the funny thing about our democracy: sometimes, just when you think everyone simply must agree with you, the voters turn around and do something you just don’t expect, or like. It’s early yet, but I’m guessing that our friends on the left are going to get their feelings hurt come this November.

He even sings the praises of the TEA Party, so you know they’re evil and Nazis, too. It should be obvious by now.

Rovin’s World opens up to show a photo of a bird of prey which is also a carrion bird. Need I say more? Scrolling down, you will quickly find him glorifying the evil Ronald Reagan. Scrolling further, you will find words dripping with sarcasm toward the good Democrats and singing the praises of the evil George W Bush.

Now let’s all stand and cheer for obstructing the first President since Social Security’s inception to attempt to put the the program on a survival course. And they’re calling Republicans “the party of no” when they were told “this problem is not going away”…… George W. Bush.

He even adds video that is very dangerous to society.

These people must be stopped! Help me find them so they can be highlighted and we can shut them all down. All praise the name of O-ba-ma!

What Is Your Personality Type?

Posted by John Hitchcock on 2010/02/10

I just took a quick personality profile test and the results seem pretty accurate.

Click to view my Personality Profile page

The ISTJ personality type information is relatively close, with a few differences.

“ISTJs are very loyal, faithful, and dependable. They place great importance on honesty and integrity. They are “good citizens” who can be depended on to do the right thing for their families and communities. While they generally take things very seriously, they also usually have an offbeat sense of humor and can be a lot of fun – especially at family or work-related gatherings.”

And the fictional ISTJs I feel most like are Joe Friday and Puddleglum. It says Math Teacher is a good choice. Imagine that.
