A Brief Poll Comparison, Update

Posted by John Hitchcock on 2009/09/01

I showed a comparison in the polls between President GWB and President BHO back in March of this year. As I noted back then, the conglomerate of polls showed they were in the same range despite the glowing praise of BHO and demonization of GWB the MSM, aka state-run media (yes, I do listen to Rush Limbaugh). Looking back at that article and the GWB graph, it is interesting to note BHO is separating himself from GWB.

While GWB stayed in the 55+ range far beyond this time in office, BHO has dropped below. Again, it is very interesting, given GWB’s constant and vigorous negative portrayal in the state-run media and BHO’s constant and vigorous praise.

Just thought you’d be interested.

One image of Obama can be found in the very short Ionecu play “The Leader”. The great one was found to have been missing a head.

McCain was nearly the anchor man at the USNA and he has not gotten any brighter over the years.

Republicans dropped the ball on a lot of issues and got punished at the polls. We got change but not necessarily for the better. Electing Obama was an act of trendiness.

Imagine bringing home some exotic pet and learning that there is a multi-faceted down side. We are in an analogous situation.

The real Obama is creating a lot of buyer’s remorse. Why Did it take this long? How low can his ratings go?

I agree Republicans dropped the ball, but that is because Republicans left the right holding the bag as the Republicans veered sharply toward the left-of-center McCain. The last general election had milk-toast liberal vs hard-core liberal and of course the hard-core liberal won.

But, as the Japanese found out, it’s dangerous to wake a sleeping giant. And perhaps, just perhaps Obama/Pelosi/Reid did just that. We can only hope it isn’t too late.
